However I wouldn't recommend following the website you reference -- looks like some kind of spam website. I can't say whether they're safe or not but I haven't heard any cases of problems associated with their use, while I have heard of cases where they have improved hair quality and perhaps even reduced hair loss. Whether their benefits can be attributed at least in part to a psychosomatic response I couldn't say. But they do seem to have worked on the mice.
