The Genius of Hair Follicle Neogenesis

You will never regrow your hair until you regenerate your scalp skin. Let me explain exactly why…

When you were young your hair grew thick and healthy. Now it’s clearly dying. So what exactly changed? Understanding the answer to that question is the key to fully reversing hair loss.

So what happened?

A hormone called DHT has caused your scalp environment to change significantly.

DHT seems to cause inflammation in the scalp, which leads to fibrosis of the hair follicles.

Fibrosis is bad news for your hair follicles

When fibrosis occurs in the hair follicles, the hair follicle tissues turn to scar tissue. Think about what scar tissue looks like when you’ve had a cut and it heals. It becomes shiny and no hairs grow in the scar. Can you think of anywhere else you’ve seen skin that’s shiny and hair no longer grows?

Shiny scalp hair loss

Bald men tend to have very tight, shiny scalps. This is due to fibrosis of the scalp tissue.

The result is that the hair follicles become non-functional and eventually can no longer grow at all.

Once your scalp environment has changed in this way, nothing will make your hair grow. No matter what treatments you use, they will have no effect.
This is why it’s incredibly frustrating to me to see so many supposedly effective hair loss treatments being sold all over the world. These treatments may have some positive effect on your non-damaged follicles, but once the follicles have become fibrotic no hair loss treatment will have any effect whatsoever.

Your hair follicles are damaged beyond repair

This is why scientists have had such trouble finding a way to make hair regrow in bald scalps.

But there is hope. More than just hope in fact.

The key to hair regrowth: regenerating healthy, youthful scalp tissue

Think about this very carefully: if your scalp was exactly as it was when you were younger (before you started losing your hair), your hair would still grow thick and healthy — like it did when you were younger.

In other words, if you could regenerate your scalp tissue, so it grew back as healthy, new tissue — just like it was when you were young — your hair would regrow.

So that’s exactly what we’re going to do

The technique I’m going to show you uses research by the world’s most famous hair loss researcher — Dr George Cotsarelis from the Perelman School of Medicine.

Dr. Cotsarelis discovered that when the scalp skin is gently wounded, the new tissue that is generated when the skin heals contains hair follicles.

This is called hair follicle neogenesis. And it’s the key to regrowing your hair.

It means we can very gently break down your old damaged scalp tissue and provoke your scalp to heal — generating new, healthy scalp tissue and hair follicles. As it heals new hair follicles are generated as part of the new tissue.

If you want to regrow your hair, this is exactly what you have to do. Nothing else will work. You must regenerate your scalp tissue.

“I suddenly noticed literally hundreds of new hairs that hadn’t been there before”

David Stanley hair loss before and after
Around a month into starting the program I saw what I thought was impossible.
New hairs were sprouting in my receded hair line area. This is an area of my scalp that hadn’t seen any hair growth since I was a teenager. Around the same time I remember looking very closely at the spaces between the thick hairs at the center-front of my scalp and I suddenly noticed literally hundreds of new hairs that hadn’t been there before.
