Receding of the hair line is quite common in males in their late teens. It's possible that the hair loss will discontinue after a fairly short spell of frontal hair loss, but it's more likely that the hair loss will continue and get worse in your twenties.

I would advise that you do something about it now. By increasing blood flow to the hair and increasing your consumption of nutrients required for hair growth you can increase the supply of the right nutrients to your hair to help grow more hair. You probably need to reduce your DHT levels but as you're in your late teens you are almost certainly experiencing a temporary increase in DHT levels, which will increase your facial hair etc. So you're best off only reducing the DHT levels in your scalp using a special topical solution -- which I explain how to make in my eBook.

You can download the eBook from here:

Dude I think I may be losing hair crow the sides. I don't quite remember how my hairline was before but I think I ve lost a few strands. I use gel ,wash it everyday maybe the problem is I brush it too much.I'm only 17 and my fathers bald as an egg though my grandpa isn't so what's my fate. Am I balding or teen receding whatever. I cover my forehead up now in a sexy way but i feel fake. People keep telling me I have good hair but the truth is I work on it alot like 20-30minutes of my day I spend infront of a mirror.

Hi Craig,

No the shower gel will not have caused hair loss. It is far more likely that your hair loss is either caused by DHT, stress, a scalp condition or possibly a nutrient deficiency.

The best thing you can possibly do is follow the special scalp therapy instructions in my eBook, which explain how to remove DHT, block DHT from the follicles and increase blood flow to the hair. Then follow my intense hair nourishment diet to feed your hair with the exact nutrients required for hair growth. You should also consider using the free audio mind training program that comes with the eBook to train your mind to be relaxed and calm, if you think your hair loss is at all stress related.

If you go to your doctor ask to have your DHT levels checked and ask if you have any nutrient deficiencies or any other underlying problems.

Hi, I was using Sandal Wood shower gel in my hair for a few months. About a week or so ago I realized it was body wash. Would this, in any way, cause hair loss? Because I would like to know before I go to the doctor's to find out why I'm losing hair at 20.

Hi Haeley,

I've emailed you some advice on how to deal with this. Also, try apple cider vinegar for the itchy scalp. There are details on how to use vinegar in edition 2 of the eBook.

hey,
i am a 21 year old female and for the last 2 years my hair has been falling out. i feel so foolish for leaving it this long, just thought it would correct itself. but the last couple of months it has just got so bad. my hair is now really thin and is so unhealthy. also, my scalp is very dry and itchy. always has been but iv never thought to link the two together. my hair is dull and lifeless and every time i touch it, i am guaranteed to have hair fall. i dread having to wash my hair becasue of the amount of hair loss. i did have a baby 5 years ago,so dunno if thats part of the problem. hormones? do you think my problem if DHT related?
looking forward to hearing back,
Haeley

Hi there,

Pantene isn't really a good shampoo. However it won't do you any damage. The most likely cause of your hair loss is DHT -- your best bet is to reduce your DHT levels naturally, using the instructions in the eBook.
