Patrick Stewart, Reminding Me Slightly of Spock
Here’s a rare glimpse into the past of an actor who lost his hair at a young age. I’ve always wondered what Captain Picard would’ve looked like with hair.
Vladimir Putin: Looks Like a Strange Creature
I had to go all the way to Russia to pick up this old school photo of Vlad, looking like a strange weasel-like creature.
James Gandolfini: the Late, Great Tony Soprano
James Gandolfini was a huge star, who appeared in many films. He courageously worked in a career in the limelight, despite suffering from debilitating anxiety. I suspect — as I’ve previously written — this high level of stress, combined with high testosterone is what causes a lot of male pattern hair loss.
Dwayne Johnson
Dwayne Johnson tweeted some time ago that he’s struggled for years with depression and anxiety. It’s likely that this (as well as high testosterone levels) is the reason for his premature hair loss.
John Malkovich
It’s no fun being John Malkovich… ..unless you’ve got some serious hair. Yes. Both past and present Mr Malkovich know what I mean. It’s OK John. It’s OK. Take a look at old Johnny B Mischievous rocking that 80s businessman hairdo. I saw John just the other day at the train station! He’s actually a cool guy.
Jeff Bezos
Indeed I have had to travel back into the mysterious and erroneous time in human history before the interwebs was invented to find this old photograph of Mr Bezos with a barnet.
Jack Nicholson
Although Jack Nicholson has never been fully bald, few people have ever seen him with a full head of hair, because he started losing it so young.

Whats the best shampoo for hair loss?Matt Lucas
Matt Lucas started losing his hair remarkably young: at just 6 years old. I’ve read that he suffered from severe skin allergies and since inflammation is directly linked with hair loss, it’s possible that this is the reason for his alopecia totalis.
Vin Diesel
Vin Diesel looks remarkably different with hair…
Jason Statham
On the left is a picture of actor Jason Statham at the 1992 Olympics! I bet you didn’t know he was an Olympic diver before becoming an actor.
Greg Wallace
Greg Wallace is a British TV presenter who specializes in food programmes and is best known for presenting Master Chef. No one has ever seen him with hair though! Have you? Well then, check out this old picture from the early 17th Century showing Greg as a young man. You can tell it’s Greg but he looks very very different. The only thing I can’t work out is how did they take a photo of him before cameras were invented? Hmmm seems strange. Lovely Jubbly.
Karl Pilkington
Karl Pilkington is one of my favorite comedians. If you haven’t watched the Ricky Gervais Show… watch it. Although I wasn’t able to find a single picture of Karl as an adult with hair, in one TV show he got a hair system glued to his head to see how it would feel to have hair:
I did notice a couple of pictures of him as a kid with hair but not a single one as an adult. I’d guess he lost his hair at a very young age due to the stress of being a comic genius. I have great sympathy for you Mr Pilkington. Take solace in knowing you are awesome!
Ben Kinglsey Before and After Hair Loss
I had to go back to the land that time forgot to find this old picture of English actor Ben Kingsley with hair.
Ed Harris
Ed Harris is another actor who lost his hair before he became particularly famous and therefore there are very few publicly available pictures of him with a hairdo.
Michael Stipe Rocking Long Hair
Wow, who knew Michael Stipe was rocking long hair back in the day.
Larry David’s Terrible “Sides” Afro
The sooner Larry cut his back and side Afro the better I think!
Mark Strong with an Eighties Band Look
English actor Mark Strong is pictured on the left here with a young Daniel Craig with long hair. Strange picture!
Well, that about wraps it up for this week. Stay tuned as tomorrow it will be a new day but I’ll be doing the same crap.

While you’re here, here’s a bonus really weird old picture of Ricky Gervais:
What the hell is that Gerv?
