Does Numan Hair Loss Work?

The Numan subscription is a Minoxidil spray, a vitamins supplement and a prescription drug called Finasteride. But does it actually work or is it all just clever marketing? Let’s find out…

numan hair loss package contents: Minoxidil, Finasteride and multivitamins

The combination of topical minoxidil and oral Finasteride is probably the most effective treatment for male hair loss aside from a hair transplant. If you want to get your hair loss under control quickly and your hair regrowing fast this is probably the most effective method.

However…

I would personally never use Finasteride.

Finasteride is a drug that significantly reduces your body’s dihydrotestosterone (DHT).

DHT is the hormone that causes male pattern hair loss. However it’s also a key hormone that helps men build muscle mass; and gives men the drive to compete in business, relationships, sport and anything else; and most importantly it can completely eliminate your sexual drive and even make you impotent.

Taking Finasteride will almost certainly reduce your hair loss (particularly if you’re a young man with a lot of testosterone) but it may also make your life terrible.

If you like having sex, having a girlfriend, being good at sport or being muscular, I recommend avoiding taking a drug that reduces the DHT hormone.

What’s the alternative?

A possible alternative is to use the Minoxidil and supplements from Numan and consider using a low dose of the Finasteride for a short period of time to get the hair loss under control and then gradually stopping use of the Finasteride.

You will however have to use the Minoxidil spray for life. Once you stop using Minoxidil, the hair you regained will be lost again.

Another alternative to consider is to try reducing your stress levels.

As I’ve explained in the past, there are lots of men who have very high DHT levels but don’t lose their hair. One possible reason for this is that they tend to produce very low levels of the stress hormones cortisol and adrenaline and as a result they avoid hair loss.

Overall I personally think you want to keep your DHT. It’s what makes you a man. If you value that then avoid Finasteride. Consider trying to deal with your stress levels instead. Proactively practise calmness to try to frequently bring and keep your stress hormone levels down.
