Besides perfume, this product lists different sorts of sulfates. For some reason, anything listed as perfume or fragrance does not need further explanation of the substance and, although the label claims otherwise, the first two mentioned ingredients after water are ammonium laureth sulfate and ammonium lauryl sulfate. These sulfates have the purpose of making more bubbles or foam, as well as breaking down oils. Short term use usually leads to a cleaner, fresher hair and scalp, but beware of long term usage because in order to keep it healthy, the hair follicle also requires the essential oils Tresemme remnoves.

Good and Bad Reviews of Tresemme Shampoo

Some people find the Tresemme shampoo brand to be very satisfying:
Well, this shampoo, along with its matching conditioner was said to regrow hair. Guess what? It does!

I have really thick, wavy hair and lately it has become very dry and damaged looking (I color it) [..]I used this once and noticed immediately when I was combing it that the ends didn’t feel brittle and my hair looked shiny. It actually dried curly instead of frizzy and is really bouncy! I love this stuff!

This is the most outstanding product for those ladies who have uncontrollable frizz hair. The hair that gets frizzy once it receives the humidity of the air. This is the one product that can control all of your frizzy tips.

Others consumers have divergent opinions:

This product seemed fine at first. I’m trying to grow my hair out and I thought that this would help keep it healthy and was doing everything I was told to do but still my hair was coming out in chunks. I changed shampoos and as soon as I did my hair wasn’t Coming out in chunks. I ran out of shampoo so I was forced to go back to this one and my hair began to shed horribly again. I threw this over my balcony.

I have to admit, it does make your hair smooth but for me, it didn’t help my hair at all. Same with my mothers, and we have Caucasian hair. Tresemme didn’t do much for me.

I am a hairdresser and all of the ones from the shops are crap. You should only buy shampoo and conditioner from salons as it is the best for your hair. But like a lot of people I talk to say that they are too expensive. All of those products in the shops like pantene, sunsilk, head and shoulders etc… are soooooo bad for your hair they may make your hair ‘feel’ good but it is doing the complete opposite. They all have so much silicon and other harmful ingredients in them and that damages the tiny hair follicles. So for your question, I would say that if you defiantly can’t afford salon ones then Tresemme’ would be the one I would say to use. If you do get it then at least go and get a good hair moisturiser from a SALON not the shops.

  1. I would like to purchase a few shampoo bottle pumps. Can’t find in stores. I have arthritis in my hands therefore bottle is hard to hold. I am sure I am not the only one with this problem. I am 80 years old, most of us have arthritis.thank you for your consideration.
