Is this product any good?
Redensyl, Caffeine and castor oil are all known to be beneficial in reducing hair loss. Redensyl is a mixture of three ingredients and its makers have claimed it’s better than Minoxidil. That claim would need to be substantiated by independent studies, but the initial results look good. Castor oil is a key ingredient for reducing male pattern baldness because of its high concentration of ricinoleic acid. Ricinoleic acid has been shown to increase PGE2 in the scalp, which in turn has been shown to reduce male pattern baldness.
Menthol may help reduce inflammation, which I consider to be one of the most significant causes of male pattern baldness. Anything you can do to reduce inflammation will be beneficial, but a small amount of menthol is unlikely to have noticeable results.
Caffeine and niacin may help stimulate hair growth and according to one study, caffeine may help protect the hair against DHT.
