Although there are numerous hair loss treatments out there most fall short when it comes to results. ‘The Big 3’ still remain the only proven treatments to stop hair fall and also stimulate the growth of new hair: Prescription Finasteride, high strength Minoxidil and low strength topical Ketoconazole.
Minoxidil and Finasteride
The combination between Minoxidil and Finasteride seems to be the most successful treatment for hair fall. Multiple studies have shown that Finasteride treatment is superior to minoxidil but a combination between the two is the best chance of stopping hair fall and obtaining new hair growth. (Hu et al., 2015)(Arca et al., 2004)

Dermaroller
Another approach that seems to have shown great results, especially when it comes to the complicated issue of hair regrowth is the treatment that combines both minoxidil and the Dermaroller. A dermaroller is a micro-needling tool used in cosmetic treatments to improve the look of scars, wrinkles and stretch marks. Scientists believe that wounding may induce the activation of growth factors by stimulating the derma papilla associated stem cells. In association with minoxidil, which stops hair fall, the Dermaroller helps grow new hair.
Dutasteride
Dustasteride has been shown to have superior effects on hair growth when compared with Finasteride. The product is a type 1 and type 2 5-alpha-reductase inhibitor while Finasteride is just a type 2 5-alpha-reductase inhibitor, which may explain its hair regrowth potential. (Shanshanwal and Dhurat, 2017)
RU58841
While studying RU58841 effects on hair loss scientists discovered that topical application could help hair grow faster, thicker and as well as significant hair regrowth in bald areas. (Huei et al., 1998)(Brouwer et al., 1997) Its effects are due to its powerful anti-androgenic potential and the fact that it can be applied topically eliminates most side effects anti-androgens have when taken orally. This too can be applied together with minoxidil in order to improve its results.
Unfortunately RU58841 is a fairly long way off being approved for use as a hair loss treatment. In fact the only way to buy it at the moment is as lab chemical and it’s very expensive. Side effects have not yet been established with medium or long-term use.
A new breakthrough natural hair growth method
Until now all hair loss treatments, with the exception of hair transplantation surgery, have shown quite mediocre results. Even the above treatments, which are considered the most effective in the world by most, achieve barely any noticeable results for many users.
However, there is a new hair regrowth method, called the Hormone Fix, which to date has shown results that seem to outperform all other treatments. The Hormone Fix is a method based on the use of topical IGF-1, antioxidants, anti-inflammatories, the Dermaroller and a special method that triggers dormant hair follicles to reactivate.
