Ingredients explained

Redensyl, Capixyl and Procapil

This topical hair loss treatment contains three well known chemical mixtures that studies have shown are beneficial for hair growth: Redensyl, Capixyl and Procapil. These three chemical mixtures are all claimed to have anti-DHT properties. Redensyl is also claimed to be anti-inflammatory. These three hair loss treatments are quite popular in their own right, so to have all three in one treatment is quite good.

Nettle is also believed to have anti-DHT properties.

Hair growth stimulators

Caffeine and melatonin have both been shown to stimulate hair growth. Melatonin is an extremely powerful antioxidant that’s been shown to stimulate increased hair growth when applied topically.

Oleanolic Acid

I recently discovered that oleanolic acid — a natural plant extract — increases the growth factors IGF-1 and VEGF. These growth factors have been shown to be important for hair growth.

Strong Hairpro also contain castor oil, which is a potent source of Ricinoleic acid. Ricinoleic acid increases PGE2 — and studies have shown that increasing PGE2 promotes hair growth.
